The New Milford Film Commission meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 7:00 pm upstairs at the Town Hall (on the village green). If the meeting room is being used for another function, meetings are moved to the Police Station (49 Poplar St - just north of the hospital).

Announcing:

The Greater New Milford Film Festival


We are happy to announce our 2nd Annual Greater New Milford Film Festival—a showing of films by local filmmakers and artists. This includes directors, producers, etc. They must live in the Greater New Milford area.


Applicants will be given 3 or 4 minutes to introduce their film to the audience. The festival is open to short films only. They can be any genre.


To be have your film considered:


- fill out & submit the form on the right


- email your application with links to your digital files to the New Milford Film Commission at filmnewmilford@gmail.com. Include the name of the director/producer/writer and their address to confirm they live in the Greater New Milford area to. Contact us with any questions.


Deadline for submissions is

July 28, 2017.


Multiple submissions are allowed, however, each submission must be sent in separately.


The tentative date for this year’s film festival is to be announced. More information will be posted soon. Selected films will be notified by the Commission.


A reception will follow the film screenings.
